Nice tucked away location not to far off the highway near some cheap servos for fuel, with secure swipe access parking. Great service at reception and attached bar. Good drink and food deals as well. Rooms are small but everything you need for a quick one night stop in and you can order meals to your room on the same QR code scanner that you use at the restaurant which makes life easy.

Clean and seems this hotel is newly refurbished. Only 1 soap bar available for us 4ppl... and need to request hairdryer from reception. Felicity has been amazing in serving us through check in, explaining, prepping welcome drinks.

Edit: issues resolved within 2h. The hotel itself is good Give us the key for the wrong room. Opening the door and found out there is someone inside. HORRIBLE experience. Merry Christmas! Our friends got a key which cannot open the door at all! SURPRISE! Edit: incident got resolved 1h!

Went for a birthday celebration. Bookings not necessary but good to be safe. Not a massive menu but has normal pub grub, pizza's, kids menu and is quite adequate. ENCLOSED kids playground so kids can be seen and run riot without the noise. Pleasant place to have quiet meal, good service with a smile.

Fantastic 3 night stay here and thought it was sensational. Had a wee hiccup getting into my room initially, and the disc to order food was not present, but apart from that the rooms were clean, bathroom awesome and the bed was great. BEST FISH AND CHIPS EVER! Had battered first night, then had to have it grilled the next. Just superb. If any complaint, it would be the wait getting a drink in the long bar next to the tab, but hey, if thats the only winge! Will obviously be going back again, and just to finish. A great shout out to the staff, especially the lovely CANADIAN girl on reception. Keep up the good work Nightcap!!!

Although the hotel exterior may appear to be a little old, the rooms were actually quite decent. However, my room had a broken towel rack. The staff were amiable and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel is situated around a 5-10 minute drive or a 15-minute e-scooter ride away from the nearby attractions.

I was treated to a long table with a selection of spiced tomahawk steaks, juicy seafood and an array of tasty sides. The service was spot on and even though I am not a regular I will be coming back for more at the Wintersun!
